2025 ANNUAL APPEAL

  • The PNWSEF Annual Appeal will focus on one of the most important investments we can make in our sport: supporting coaches’ education. Beyond coaches’ education, the Annual Appeal will also support athlete grants and scholarships.

  • Skiing athletes and coaches across the Pacific Northwest. Click HERE, or on the “Grants and Scholarships” tab at the top of page, for funding and reimbursement opportunities.

  • Beginning this season, U.S. Ski & Snowboard (USSS) now requires every coach who enters a USSS-sanctioned race arena to hold a Level 100 Coach Certification or higher. While this new mandate strengthens the quality, consistency, and safety of coaching nationwide, it also presents a significant financial burden for coaches and the clubs they serve. PNWSEF is here to encourage athletes and coaches to excel and thrive in our division and beyond, and this additional funding will assist significantly with this goal.

How we Do it

Provide funding to offset the costs for athletes attending of PNW Ski Division Projects

  • Alpine U14 Speed Camp

  • Alpine Mt Bachelor Speed Camp

  • Nordic Junior Nationals

Provide individual GRANT REQUESTS throughout the season for PNW Division Alpine and Nordic athletes and coaches.

  • Individual Travel Grants for athletes

  • Individual Continuing Education Grants for coaches 

Recognize financial and other sacrifices made by PNW Division student athletes and coaches by awarding three CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS each year.

  • Jane Henry Scholarship (for female athletes)

  • R. Dean Palmer Scholarship (for male athletes)

  • Bruce W. Holyoke Scholarship (for coaches)
